We’re proud to share our latest case study video, filmed on site at Fitzroy Place in the picturesque village of Blackmore, Essex. The video features Tim Chilvers from the Anderson Group, alongside Lee Daniel from Close Brothers Property Finance and a local councillor who played a key role in supporting the development.

This scheme is a shining example of community-led design and thoughtful development. Anderson worked closely with local residents, councillors, and heritage groups to deliver a project that reflects the character and history of the village, earning rare unanimous planning approval in a green belt area.

Close Brothers has supported Anderson for over eight years, funding more than 800 new homes through loan facilities totalling £120 million. As Lee Daniel notes:

“By taking the time to engage in a meaningful way with Blackmore’s residents, Anderson has delivered a scheme that enjoys the community’s full support, which is incredibly rare. This collaborative approach reduces the risk of planning complications, making it more attractive to finance, and could be a blueprint for future developments. As a lender we are proud to support SME clients who deliver the types of homes that enhance the communities in which they are built.”

Watch the video to learn more about the project, the people behind it, and the power of partnership in delivering homes that truly belong.
