How Nicholas King Homes relied on Close Brothers to thrive and expand

Taking a collaborative approach to housing development design helped SME housebuilder Anderson Development Group secure rare unanimous planning approval for Fitzroy Place, its scheme of 40 new homes in Blackmore, Brentwood. This marks a rare achievement in one of Essex’s more development resistant areas which sits within the green belt. This summer, a determined team from Close Brothers Property Finance took on the North Downs 50km Ultra Challenge, pushing through soaring temperatures and tough terrain to cross the finish line with smiles and a shared sense of achievement.

Close Brothers Property Finance (CBPF) is providing Fernham Homes with a £38m revolving credit facility (RCF) to support the delivery of over 400 new homes across Kent. This marks Close Brothers’ first multi-site RCF, covering six new developments with a combined gross development value (GDV) of around £168m.
