Tomorrow's Developer Network: Barking site visit

Last week our 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰’𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 network visited a development site in Barking with Steven Morris, MD of Linfield Construction. Steve is a valued and supportive member of the network, who kindly gave the group a tour of the development, where he is acting as main contractor.

The scheme has a very interesting background, whereby the previous contractor fell into financial difficulties, so Linfield were able step in and complete remedial works and they are now taking the scheme forward to practical completion.

The project showcases the complexities associated with housebuilding, how things can go wrong and how important it is to understand that the cheapest price isn’t always the best option!
